Extended content labels (ECL) add an extended printing surface folded into the final label package for an increase in content, such as:
Directions for use in multiple languages
Ingredient lists or recipes
Allergic reaction information
Instant Redeemable Coupons (IRC) for trial and promotion
Because of the limited space on a standard label, ECL’s and IRC’s allow for companies to promote or display additional information about your product right where you need to display on the product itself, without destroying the visual appeal of your packaging.
How do we print Extended Content labels?
Double panel labels use the front and back of the label to display information. These labels can be taken off the product itself and also reapplied.
Triple panel labels use a double panel label and add another affixed label. The last panel is typically affixed to the product while the two primary panels can be folded out and read.
